At the beginning of August a team of four enthusiastic volunteers left the Netherlands for an adventure in Arusha. Upon arrival the team of volunteers that were from Doing Good Foundation teamed up with Future Stars Academy, Ace Africa and the Ministry of Education to bring joy, laughter, footballs, volleyballs and arts to 5 schools in the rural areas of Arusha and Kisongo.
This joint effort enabled hundreds of kids to play, learn and have fun. Arts classes were used to brighten up the schools and to teach children how to keep the environment clean by recycling. Volleyball, football, snacks and lunch were highlights.
After a long week of camp and games the volunteers treated themselves with a 4 day safari to see the wildlife of Tanzania.
